President 

Greg Mead


Greg served for 6 years in the RAAF, including 1 year in Vietnam 1968-69. Greg has 23 years experience in marketing, sales and advertising management. Greg served for 11 years as the Deputy CEO at ANZAC House, the State RSL Headquarters. Greg is a Life Member and has been President for 4 years.

Senior Vice President

Bruce Shelton


Bruce is a Life Member and a resident of the island for 16 years. He is a past President of the South Gippsland National Service. In 2010 Bruce won the Victorian Premier's Community Volunteers Award 2010 and inducted into the RSL Hall of Fame in 2012.

Vice President

Tom Mallaghan


Tom was elected to the Committee in 2010 and then elected as Vice President in 2011. Tom was a past Manager in Customer Training for Telecom Australia and the Training Officer and Communications Officer for the San Remo State Emergency Service.

Secretary

Brian Goldberg


Brian has resided in Rhyll for over10 years. He is a retired manufacturer of jewellery as well as the past Director of the Dandenong Workmen's Social Club where he served for 9 years. He is now involved in the Lions Club and a number of community based organisations.

Treasurer

Stephen Davie


Steve is a self proclaimed "tragic Saints" supporter, born and bred on Phillip Island. Steve has been a Chartered Accountant for 29 years and has been involved in the local tourism industry for 17 years.

Chris Thompson 


Chris served in Vietnam, Borneo and the Malay Peninsula. He is a semi-retired Real Estate Agent who holds degrees in both History and Politics.

Terry Heffernan


Terry has been a premanent resident of Phillip Island for 7 years and is a retired builder. He is involved with a variety of community based organisations and is a past member of local government. Terry is currently a member of the Phillip Island Probus Club.

Peter Paul

 

Peter has served as a Primary School Principal for 28 years and previously a Bass Coast Councillor for 6 years. Married to Glenyce, they have two children and three grandchildren.
