Taste the Bass Coast Experience

A special package for groups which includes:

A visit to the National Vietnam Veterans Museum followed by a 2 course lunch at the Lone Pine Bistro, Phillip Island RSL and end the day with Afternoon Sippers at the Gurdies Winery overlooking the Westernport Bay as the sun begins to set.

Morning

Arrive at the National Vietnam Veterans Museum, which is an independent Australian museum dedicated to the heritage and legacy of Vietnam veterans.  Experience the sound and light show and a guided tour through the museum to see the fascinating exhibitions which are displayed.  Tea, coffee and biscuits served on arrival.

Lunch

Phillip Island RSL is located at the gateway to Cowes and houses a vast array of military memorabilia and equipment both inside and outside of the venue.  Enjoy a 2 course meal which will be alternately served – of either beer battered fish of the day with chips and salad, roast of the day with seasonal vegies and gravy or chicken schnitzel served with chips and salad followed by a delicious dessert.  Tea and coffee is also provided.

Afternoon Sippers

Before you head back home, the tour will visit The Gurdies winery where you will be captivated by the beautiful views across to Westernport Bay whilst sipping on your choice of wine.  A range of wines are on offer with a tasting fee of $3 per person.  Take advantage of the special offer only available on the tour – the option to buy a bottle of wine for $10 (usually $20-$25) and limited to one person.

Total cost is only $30 excluding transport…..minimum 10 people
