Cowes Community Christmas CelebrationsPosted on 29/11/17 Tuesday 19th December from 5pm
Everyone is invited to attend the biggest community event on the Island – the annual Community Christmas Celebrations at the Cowes foreshore and ampitheatre near Erewhon Point.
Starting at 5pm, with free rides and amusements, face painting, animal farm, Pockets the Clown, glitter tatoos, Christmas crafts all thanks to Phillip Island RSL and the Cowes Bendigo Community Bank.
Make sure you meet the roaming reindeer between 5.30 and 7.30pm.
Santa arrives at 6.30pm on board the big red shiny CFA fire truck where children can tell Santa what they want for Christmas.
From 7.30pm, it’s all happening from the stage where there will be the draw of three Christmas prizes thanks to Bendigo Bank, some jazz music and then Carols by Candlelight performed by local school children, local artists and musicians.
At 9.15pm, the big countdown begins for the spectacular fireworks display thanks to Bass Coast Shire Council.
It’s all free, and it’s for our community to welcome in Christmas to our beautiful Island.
